The use of metropolyNEO is not limited to the control centers or staff. Operation sections, mobile command units and command and control vehicles use offline-capable mobile systems. The most important basic data, like maps, zones and object information, are cached on these systems to allow for further processing even if the network connection is interrupted. Situation information is stored locally in each case, and when the connection is re-established, the data is updated bidirectionally. Single-user and multi-user mobile systems are available.
