e-RES. RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Storms, heavy rain, black ice or meter-high snowfall represent a genuine challenge for the emergency services. Hundreds or even thousands of incident sites, ‘marathon’ operations lasting several days, a permanent lack of resources, and always maintaining an overview to make sure that everything is fully documented and high-priority incidents do not founder.
Don’t panic. The storm is coming, but the situation is well in hand. e-res electronic resource management is the severe weather module of the metropolyNEO product family. e-res can be used as a standalone solution or in combination with the e-lan and e-mas modules, in mobile or stationary section command units or district operations centers (with backup) and, of course, also in combination with the proven metropolyNEO connection to incident command systems.
Directly editable operations instead of page-long faxes. Everyone involved stays up to date with the situation at all times. The creation of incidents in e-res is also possible. For example, if it is being run as a standalone solution with no connection to an incident command system or to add incident sites that are not already stored in the control center, but are reported directly at the fire station or to action forces on the scene.
Regardless of how incident sites are entered on the system, whether the staging areas, fire stations or police stations, for instance, are populated by an alert in the incident command system or manually, every operation and every use of a resource is fully documented. This is done individually for each incident site and, if desired, also for the overall situation as a dedicated response team operation. Ongoing operational tasks can thus be additionally monitored with e-mas and the automatically generated documentation can be exported as an e-mas incident journal for searches and printouts. e-mas and the e-mas Mail GATEway also support the direct transfer of operational tasks to vehicles.
Besides severe weather situations, e-res can also be used to coordinate operation sections for major events.
e-res optimally complements the e-lan and e-mas modules for severe weather situations and more.
